Short description of error
This happens with Clay Strips while drawing with small radius of the brush. Brush Stroke doesn't follow the direction of the brush unless you increase the size of the brush or zoom in to the sculpting area.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
This issue looks like #116418.
I can't reproduce the issue. I don't think it's the same as #116418.
The example video has heavily altered brush settings. It would be best to share an example file.
I tried replicating the setup but for me the brush tip rotation works.
Here is another video of a bug but in this case i'm usind a mouse to exclude Wacom Tablet Issue
I can replicate the issue in the example file but I don't know what's causing it yet.
No brush setting I changed is altering the bug. Applying the modifier or changing the scene settings also didn't fix it.
The issue doesn't seem to be that the brush rotation is static, but that it's occasionally jittering ot getting stuck in 45 degree angles.
Oh, yes. The occasional jittering was happening as well but it stopped after some time.
Ideally what's needed now is a way to reproduce this in a default startup file. Or maybe a developer knows more what could be going on here.
I've created fresh scene, imported my mesh via OBJ and FBX and brushes started to work correctly. So it's the problem with Blender's GoB addon
No, I am taking my words back. It started to glitch again. I think the culprit is the scale of the object. I'll try to sculpt on the small scaled head
Yes. It works correctly on the head which was imported with 0.1 scale and glitches on the actual sized head
I can reproduce the bug on a startup file. The further away the mesh is from the world origin, the more the brush rotation begins to jitter and fail.
Anything above 1000 units should be enough.
I've discovered another bug. If you move my actual size head to the center of the world it fixes problem with clay strips but insted Draw brush stops working at all
I created new scene, imported actual sized head, moved it to the center of the world and Draw Brush started to work correctly, Clay Strips working as well
