Short description of error
There's a rendering issue with a grease pencil stroke that is animated with the WaveDistortion effect.
As far as I can tell, if a portion of the animated stroke is coming into the frame, from out of the frame, the newly rendered portion of the stroke just looks like a straight line, rather than curved.
Please see image below. The arrows are showing the issue in a frame from a video render where the issue is most obvious:

First of all, can you check if the same issue of occur in next blender versions? 3.4 was finished, see: https://projects.blender.org/blender/blender/milestone/2
Hey @mod_moder. I just tried using blender 4.0.2 and I'm still seeing the same issue.
Because I'm seeing this issue with both blender versions 3.x and 4.x, is this a bug or an issue with my settings?

@PratikPB2123 I'm sorry but I have no time now to work in this bug now. Anyway, this bug is related to the draw engine and this was done by @fclem and I would not know how to fix it. Sure, he can help you here.
