System Information
Operating system: Win10
Graphics card: RTX3090

Blender Version
Broken: 4.1 beta and 4.2 alpha
Worked: 4.0

Short description of error
When resizing a square RGB node the round picker thingy will after a certain width turn into a straight line from top to bottom. You recently made a welcome change to the pointy picker to a better circlely one, but it seem to have created this bug as well.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Create a RGB node in the shader editor and change the size of it to something wider.

@Gurra, thank you for the bug report. I can confirm the issue.

My guess is it was caused by commit c11d5b4180.
@Harley, does this issue ring a bell?

This does ring a bell. Will look at the code soon, but I do remember having some test for area proportions for some reason.
