Short description of error
Numpad * hotkey toggle doesn't isolate GP layer

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Select a GP layer anywhere you can select a GP layer (in this case, in Dopesheet editor)
  2. Tap the numpad * key to isolate layer
  3. No layer is isolated/deisolated
  4. Press the Isolate Layer button on the dopesheet editor in GP mode
  5. Selected layer isolates/deisolated

From what I can see, the 'Isolate Layer' shortcut is only available in Edit Mode.
I'm not exactly sure why this is the case, but it appears to be intentional.
Maybe @pepe-school-land or @antoniov can provide more information about this?

(The operator seems to have been added in commit a1f87064c4)

Interesting. One would assume that, since the button versions (the lock icon on top bar of Dopesheet editor in GP mode, for example) works in draw mode as expected, that the keyboard toggle would follow suit. I, too, would be interested in hearing from @pep-school-land and @antoniov on this.

This is layer operator so I think shortcut should also be the part of draw mode keymap

At least for GPv3, I've added the keymap in draw and edit mode. We can do this for legacy GP as well. Confirming.

@Prakhar-Singh-Chouhan , try in viewport. Shortcut works in edit mode but not in drawmode. I'm not sure if we should add it in dopesheet as well.

Lets wait for the confirmation from module devs first.
