Short description of error
When applying Visual Geometry to Mesh under certain conditions the UV layers will change order, I haven't been able to ascertain the exact conditions. This is very important when developing assets for games.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Download the blend file
  • Select the blade
  • Note the UV order
    UVMap
    PaletteUV
    RCOMap
  • Apply Visual Geometry (Ctrl - A > Visual Geometry To Mesh)
  • Note the new order of UV layers:
    RCOMap
    UVMap
    PaletteUV

FWIW, the modifier after Solidify (Generate - Radial Array) seems to be the culprit. If that's disabled the order seems to be fine again. I think between instancing and realizing meshes the order of attributes get shuffled.
