Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
blender text python coloring for try:/except: used to be red for reserved words
; is now white:
same goes for some other python reserved words like "match", "None".
shows fine to me
my bad not to have .py on text title
Hmmmm but you are right, other versions uses the python formatter by default.

462c144f41changes the default formatter from python to glsl, was intended?462c144f41/source/blender/editors/space_text/space_text.cc (L484)@ideasman42 I think you also need to change text_intern.hh because I also put it at the top. if you want I will take care of it
@Gangneron the declaration order doesn't matter there.
I go to patch problem and fix incorrect commentary syntax
Also try a comment with an apostrophy in it. I had all subsequent lines act as though they were within a string quote
