System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19045-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.6.0 NVIDIA 537.13

Blender Version
Broken: version: 4.0.2, branch: blender-v4.0-release, commit date: 2023-12-05 07:41, hash: 9be62e85b727
Worked: (none)

Short description of error
I'm not sure if this can be classified as a bug, but theoretically the snapping method I use works very well, but when the "Include Active" parameter is selected, it is unstable.
I really miss the option to snap to the edge of a curve while working, so I use a trick of adding a simple tree of geometry nodes to the Bezier Curve, which I show in screenshot 1.
This makes the curve capable of snapping elements to its entire edge, not just to the nodes. The problem occurs when I try to move and snap nodes belonging to this curve. As you can see in the video below, snapping becomes inaccurate and unstable.
The problem does not occur when we attract nodes belonging to a separate curve.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Add a bezier curve to the empty scene
  2. Add a new geometry node tree to the bezier curve (screenshot 1)
  3. In the snapping options, set "Vertex" + "Edge" and the "Include Active" parameter (screenshot 2)
  4. Add some new nodes on the bezier curve, and try moving some of them to snap to the same curve.
Snap will become unstable at random times.

Thx
