Hi @TheCharacterhero-4 , am right if i'll say that you had node asset library for blender 4.1 in blender 4.0, and when you save project with this assets and check in 4.1 it crash?

Now I checked it on a clean build and everything was fine. Perhaps in 4.0 there are crashes due to addons. Possibly due to the settings, but it’s unlikely. Is it possible to find out the reason? I don't have any nodes.

I pressed the wrong button.

I pressed the wrong button.

I don't have any nodes.

You have a lot of nodes (maybe from addon, yeah):

And part of nodes are corrupted to be opened in new version i think:

Yes, i can reproduce this just with single node.

I honestly don't know what addon this is. These are the only ones I have enabled. I assume that something conflicts with the test addons that I downloaded from here and threw into the main folder.

Unfortunately loading files with new nodes and sockets in 4.0 is not supported:

There were several fixes for preventing crashes when loading new socket types in old Blender versions (#114401, #119630), but this was after 4.1 had already become the latest LTS release. Blender 4.0 will not get updates any more, and so the fix will not be available when loading with that particular version. As a consequence, loading a 4.1 file in 4.0, saving and then loading 4.1 again will have corrupted data.

#119630 is not in the current Blender 3.6 LTS yet, but when that is done you could try loading the file in 3.6 (where invalid sockets are removed), then save it and load in 4.1.

Sorry for this situation, but for 4.0 there just isn't any way to make it forward compatible.
