Broken Jump to Keyframe Keymap Change #120089

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19045-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: AMD Radeon(TM) R5 Graphics ATI Technologies Inc. 4.6.13596 Core Profile Context 20.10.35.02 27.20.1034.6

Blender Version
Broken: version: 4.1.0, branch: blender-v4.1-release, commit date: 2024-03-25 20:42, hash: 40a5e739e270
Worked: Blender 3.6

Short description of error
The hotkeys for Jump to Keyframe do not work in the Graph Editor when changed from their defaults.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Spawn an object, and then insert two or more keyframes. Go to Edit > Preferences > Keymap, and in the Frames section, change the hotkeys for Jump to Keyframe to something different, such as Shit 1 and Shift 2. In my case, I did a whole BUNCH of keymap rewiring back with 3.4, and I noticed it when using the bracket keys to jump between keyframes. I changed the hotkeys to Shift 1 and Shift 2 just to make sure it's more than just those two, and sure enough, it is.

I wasn't able to reproduce this issue. Does this happen with factory settings when you change only graph editor shortcuts?

Yes. The Jump to Keyframe hotkeys work as intended in the Dopesheet, NLA Editor, Sequencer, and everywhere else you'd use them in Blender, however, the hotkeys for those two stopped working in the Graph Editor specifically when you change them from their factory defaults, while the changed hotkeys work perfectly fine everywhere else. It's a really odd bug.

There is a keyframe jump operator specifically for the Graph Editor (so screen.keyframe_jump is not for the Graph Editor, use graph.frame_jump instead)

Does this work for you?

OMG! Thank you! graph.keyframe_jump works perfectly. It makes more sense too since the Graph Editor is the only place where keyframes are actually used to their full potential.
