Broken: Broken since at least version 2.9
Worked: still broken as of 4.0
Short description of error
When using the copy uv function in the transfer data menu (ctrl L), the selected objects UV gets completely destroyed when copied, this happens randomly but once it occurs it is unfixable (Will work perfectly one day, and then be broken the next)
Both objects have the same geometry, material, UV seams etc etc. They are identical

Again, 3/4 of these maps copied fine, but the 2nd from the left is broken

Also, could you attach simplified .blend file?
Unfortunately I already replaced the affected geometry, the other post could be related, up close the UV verts are feathered and split randomly, as well as stretched across the entire sheet.
When I have this issue again I will upload the file.
I've left the destroyed UV map as is but it should be replicable by shift clicking Cube 3 and then Cube 31, ctrl + L and then copy UV maps
