System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.19045-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.6.0 NVIDIA 536.99

Blender Version
Broken: version: 4.2.0 Alpha, branch: main, commit date: 2024-04-09 22:45, hash: 7226b5272871
Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
Normal Map strength influenced by Object Scale in EEVEE Next

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
When using using the Normal Map node, the object scale acts as a multiplier for the normal map strength.
This does not happen in EEVEE Legacy or Cycles.
Attached is a simple scene with the same shader applied to both spheres.
One sphere has the scale applied while the other has a scale of 100.

Can confirm. Looks like it's wrong from the beginning.

As discussed in chat, raising obvious regressions from EEVEE >> EEVEE-Next to high priority
