Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
Nullptr dereference cause crash if you have 2 node editors (node group and parent node tree) and you do mute group node.
Crash happened in shader previews code.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open attahed example file.
  2. Mute selected node group.

I unfortunately cant dig into this problem for the next few weeks as I'm deep into the exams currently.
I'll try if possible to spend some time this summer to complete the project and hopefully get node previews out of experimental state (it might require a lot of time to get the stuff up to date).
Anyone willing to fix it by then is welcome as usual ;)
