select bone - click hide - checker become checked
select another bone
select first bone - checker not checked

if click hide on hided bone - hided parent bone

for unhide bones need click right mouse on bone in Armature and select Unhide

Hi, thanks for the report. If I understand correctly the actual issue is: selecting hidden "ebone/pose bone" in outliner is not showing the bone properties of it.

Its show normal until we change selection bone,
If we change selection - some magic happens.
and if we change "hide" in property - we hide not selected bone

bone.001 in sample - hidden.

but on prew screen - head tail identical

You are not looking at Bone.001 (but Bone instead)

This is because hidden bones dont activate from the Outliner
Dont think much changed since #82959

But in outliner bone.001 show as selected
So expected behaviour - show properties from selected bone or show nothing
