Short description of error
After a few clicks I can't rotate rotate my view, only pan and selections keep being added even if I don't hold Shift.
Sometimes zoom in and out also stop working.
If I close the icon and reopen the app, everything starts working normally again, but after a few more clicks the problem reappears.
I found a post with similar issued and the problem was the Wacom App, I un install that but problem is still here.
Is driving me slightly crazy please help.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Few clicks and the issue starts. Doesn't matter if the file is heavy or just the start up file, issue is the same. In the video I am not holding shift and I try and rotate.
Hi! It might be your keyboard that's holding/clicking ctrl/shift/alt keys that you are not aware of. It might be a hardware issue (where the keyboard fails to send the release event), or a software issue (you might have some software that's sending the key event).
When you have this problem try clicking ctrl/shift/alt and if it's a hardware problem, the keyboard should release the keys normally.
Hi Yiming. I thought so but everything works fine with other programs. I think is more likely to be a RAM problem now. Thank you
Did a keyboard test and that works fine. Free some space on my laptop so isn't a memory problem so I really don't get it, please help :(
Hi, does it work with factory defaults?:
File > Defaults > Load Factory Settings
Hi there! We really don't have much info other than the shift key seems to be sticking? Try checking whether you have set sticky keys in windows (but that should lift automatically after a few seconds...)
I do have a dell laptop that sometimes does that kind of sticky key, where a key is held down for some reason. It might be that kind of problem, I never really fixed it, I just click the key a few times.
No activity for more than a week. As per the tracker policy we assume the issue is gone and can be closed.
Thanks again for the report. If the problem persists please open a new report with the required information.
