GPU Subdivision: Geometry artifacts when enabled on Windows ARM64 (X Elite) #124515

System Information
Operating system: Windows 11 ARM64 running on X Elite only (could not repro on 8cx Gen3)
Graphics card: Adreno X Elite GPU

Blender Version
Broken: main, and I suspect 4.2 also
Worked: n/a

Short description of error
When loading the "BMW" scene, geometry artifacts appear in various places on the screen, different every time.

It appears to be due to lack of barrier use in certain places when doing UAV load/stores, as diagnosed by Qualcomm. Having spoken to Jesse Natalie at MS, he suspects it is within Blender, rather than inside GLOn12/mesa.

There was some discussion in blender.chat #eevee-viewport-module with @fclem and @Alaska - it was narrowed down to GPU subdiv - with it disabled, there are no geometry errors.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open a blender nightly on a Snapdragon X Elite machine
  2. Load the BWM scene (some artifacts may already be visible)
  3. Load an intermediate scene
  4. Load the BMW scene, geometry artifacts will be visible

A video is attached showing the issue.
