VSE strip drag-handle cursor is not scaled when using HiDPI displays #124955

System Information
Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.22631-SP0 64 Bits
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090/PCIe/SSE2 NVIDIA Corporation 4.6.0 NVIDIA 551.23

Blender Version
Broken: version: 4.2.0, branch: blender-v4.2-release, commit date: 2024-07-16 06:20, hash: a51f293548ad

(Sorry I accidently hit enter before I had even written the report, which submitted it early...)

Short description of error
The cursor that displays when hovering over either ends of a VSE strip is not scaled up to match high resolution/HiDPI displays like the default Windows cursor. The video attached is recorded on a 4K resolution monitor.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
The attached blend file is simply a Video Editing file with two color strips added. If you have a high resolution display, you can easily test this by hovering over the strips like in the attached video.

Hi, thanks for the report. Does this happen in 4.1? I'm guessing it broke after the recent VSE handle changes: f98b01e492

Hi, thanks for the report. Does this happen in 4.1? I'm guessing it broke after the recent VSE handle changes: f98b01e492

Those handles don't exist in 4.1, I believe

Also I see that the standard drag cursor (I don't know the technical name for it) is scaled correctly, which was in 4.1 and below

I can confirm this issue.

Note: I am using Windows, and my display is a 27inch screen with 2560x1440 resolution, in case it has any sort of impact on this.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Windows display setting and set scaling to 200%
  2. Log out of your user account in Windows and log back in to help ensure it applies properly.
  3. Open Blender, import something into the VSE, and hover your mouse over the edges.

This is not a issue in Blender in Blender 4.1 because prior to f98b01e492 there wasn't a special cursor to this case.
