System Information
Operating system: windows 10
Graphics card: nvidia rtx 2060 super

Blender Version
Broken: 3.6 , 4.1, 4.2
Worked: -

Short description of error
Attempting to apply a "Deform curves on surface" node results in the deform being reset back to the rest pose, and the result ends up different.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

  1. apply the deform curves on surface node
  2. the curves revert back to their default position before the deform curves on surface node.

Can confirm. Looks like the pose isn't taking into account when applying.

In case it's useful for anyone searching this: A way to work around this is to create a second curves object as a proxy, with a geometry nodes group that is just an object info of the original object connected to the output, and apply that. That way the second object will have the pose properly applied.
