System Information
Operating system: windows 11 Home 64 bits (10.0, compilación 22631)
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with Max-Q Design

Blender Version
Broken: (Blender 4.2.0)

Short description of error
In the Sequencer Editor, when moving handlers of strips using the G key, if you move the cursor to the left and then cancel the modal event (with Esc), the handlers do not return to their original positions correctly. Instead of moving back from left to right, they exhibit incorrect behavior, resulting in errors and alterations in strip durations and positions.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Open the Sequencer Editor in Blender.
  2. Select a series of strips.
  3. Select only the handlers of all the strips.
  4. Press G to move the handlers.
  5. Move the cursor to the left.
  6. Cancel the modal event by pressing Esc.

Can reproduce this in 2.79. This may be interesting issue.

Yeah i haven't tried on previous blender version since im making an addon for the latest and i found that issue. And its something i would like to work properly as i depend alot on strip handlers. Hope it will be useful for the developers to fix :)
