Short description of error

Assigning materials to liboverride objects using the Asset Browser can crash blender when undoing.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  • Download both attached blend files, open main.blend
  • Set the directory as an asset library path (library.blend contains some material assets) or use your own material assets to test.
  • Drag a material from the asset browser onto one of the linked objects with no materials assigned (Cone, Sphere, Torus).
  • Undo this action. If blender does not immediately crash, drag the material asset to another one of the linked objects, and undo again. Blender should consistently crash.

Hi, this is same as #127605. Though I'll keep this separate since it reports a crash

I could only cause the crash by using the Asset Browser and not the other methods in the other issue. I thought there is maybe a flaw with the Asset Browser specifically.
