Cloth render crash on frame 1 only #37136

%%%Rendering images and animations with the attached .blend immediately crashes when rendered for frame 1, but not for other frames. BI does not crash, but cycles and povray do.

Changing the lowest possible frame to zero and starting an animation render from frame zero eliminates the problem. Unchecking [physics - cloth - display modifier in realtime] also eliminates the problem for image renders.

This mesh was used for testing cloth and rigid body settings - maybe some corrupted data or special setting is in the file from that? A default cube scene with cloth turned on doesn't have the problem.

CPU: i7 3630qm
RAM: 16 GB
GFX: Intel HD 4000
OS: Ubuntu 13.04
Blender: 2.69.1 RC2 SVN r60818M compiled with Scons (Cmake hasn't worked lately.)
BF 2.67.0 also fails.%%%

%%%Seems to be a threading issue. Workaround would be to render with Full Screen display, so viewport doesn't run into conflict with render thread.

Will have a look whether depsgraph_mt brach does have an issue and if so still will try to solve the crash :)%%%

This issue has been actually solved with a patch for another bug in 602dcb47b0 No crash happens on render now here as well! :)

So thanks for the report, and lemme know if it's still an issue for you. Until then considering the issue resolved.
