Copying object to buffer messes up its textures' image paths #37669

System Information
Arch x64

Blender Version
Blender 2.69 e3ee0b1d38

Short description of error
Copying an object to the buffer (Ctrl-C), causes all of its texture image paths to be converted to absolute paths, incorrectly prefixed with //... This happens with both absolute and relative paths. Both Cycles and BI are affected, but i assume this is independent of the rendering engine.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Not much, really. Just copy a textured object and either render it or look at one of its textures in the UV/Image editor.

The attached .blend has both a 3D view and an image editor open. Performing a copy on the cube immediately changes the image path (although the texture in the image editor won't disappear until you cause the view to refresh.)
