Cannot copy rotation channel values to other transform channel values #38130

Short description of error
It is possible to copy values from the location and scale properties, pressing Ctrl+C, and paste them into any transform channel property, pressing Ctrl+V, but if I copy the rotation value of an axis I can only paste it within the rotation values. I can´t copy/paste a rotation value into a location or scale property. This isn't a problem of a specific scene. It happens with all scenes.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
With the properties panel open, press Ctrl+C on top of Rotation x axis. Then, press Ctrl+V, on top of Location x. It doesn't work. If you try to copy any other value that isn't a rotation value it works.

It seems to be related to the unicode "degree" character not being correctly handled/stripped off when copying, or something like that.

This is caused by rotations using units, if you enable imperial and copy gravity you get:

"0ft/s²"

... Which can't be pasted into any number field.

If there were a simple, predictable way to handle all units, then that could work.

For now just paste the value in and remove the last character manually '90°' -> '90'.
