System Information
Windows 7 x64, ATI HD 4670 with actual drivers (second PC : Windows 7 x32, Nvidia GeForce 7025)

Blender Version
Broken: 2.69.0 r60995 - Both PCs have the same Blender-Version

If i use the "Origin to geometry" command with the red or yellow mesh, the mesh jumps to the origin instead (it is unimportant using the key-short or the button in the Object tools). The command works with the green mesh.

The yellow mesh is a copy from the red object but with another mesh-structure. The green one is an komplet new object.

What is the problem with the red and yellow one ? There isn´t and there was never a modifier or a constraint on it. The only things i´ve done is moving and scaling.

The blend is so, that you can use immediately the command.

Thanks and with best wishes.

The red and yellow objects have rigid body physics assigned. Not sure why that influences behavior like this.

Editing rigid bodies only works on the simulation start frame in some cases. In this case you have to go to frame 1 before changing object origin.

Also a question, did you create the rigid bodies intentionally?
If not, do you have an idea how they were created?

I have no idea where it come from. Perhaps i have accidentally pressed the CTRL-R key (i think that is the key-command for rigid bodies :-) ). But that was not my intention. And it`s good to know about that.

In my opinion these task can be closed.

Thank you very much for your work and your answers.

Ha, I thought so.
We really should remove the keyboard shortcuts for rigid bodies, it's not the first time we get a report like this ;)

Closing.
