Cycles equirectangular panoramic camera missing Field-of-view settings #39165

System Information
Win7, Quadro 2000

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.70 RC2

Short description of error
The cycles panoramic camera, set to equirectangular, does not have field-of-view settings. It always renders a full panorama 360° wide and 180° high.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Set the renderer to cycles, the camera to panoramic, with "Panorama type = Equirectangular" and render. The full panorama is rendered, stretched to the final render resolution. This requires rendering a very large image, even if only a smaller area is required, and cropping it manually at the end.
I am not sure if this is a "real" bug, but all other camera types have field-of-view settings, by analogy this camera is missing one (or actually two: vertical and horizontal FOV)

Assigning to Dalai, as he implemented the Cycles Panorama camera.

If I had a penny for every person who think I was who implemented the equirectangular panorama camera ;) (it was @brecht 's work).
Anyways, I will look at the patch later. I think we had a patch elsewhere for that, but in the end we agreed that it was a fine addition (even though you can get similar results with border)

Ups, sorry. I see you did equisolid and equidistant. :D

I'm fine with having this functionality, just needs a better name and control for both vertical and horizontal min/max.

I don't consider it a bug though that this functionality is missing, you can subscribe to #34400 ([Cycles] Settings to restrict polar range for equirectangular panoramas) to see the progress on this.
