Short description of error
In bug #41561 I complained that I wes losing some UV map information.
mont29 replied that it is normal, since the UV maps are no longer merged automatically, leading to 2 UV maps. Problem, some applications like Second Life can import only 1. When we import in SL, part of the UV map is lost.
This is tricky and if we don't know Blender in details it is hard to guess what is wrong.
My request is that some message is issued when we join 2 objects, like "Merge UV maps?" so that the person is aware that there is something happening here. Other solution is merging when the export takes place, by adding a relevant button in the export window (there is none in version 2.71)

This is not a bug, but a feature request, no need to open tasks for that. Once again, our tracker is not place for feature requests.
