startup file have problem with indirect lightning . #41848

no indirect light works after I start my own created startup blender file.
A loadings of the factory settings helps and thats the only way I found for corect rendered result and in the 3d view.
On every start now I must setup blender new, so that the bi indirect material works..

Steps..
look a the video you see my steps

marginal note.....................................

second big problem for beginner , Blender internal indirect light material as fake user can not mixed together with a cycles material .
indirect is not rendered in that case .

Urch`n aka Basram K. had the corect answer posted on here web side .

nobody knows is that a bug or a mised blender feature.

I don't see video, plus it's really helpful to have simple .blend and text-written steps, videos could be really time consuming to figure out what's going.

Hi try to explain the problem but in that case a video can show more than thousend typed words of bad english can explain sry for that ..

but I try ..
I creat a plane with only a grey material.
Then I created a cube with a green material .
The green material emit value is set to 2 .
indirect lightning option is activated in the world settings
and the factor is set to 1 and the aproximate allgorythm is used.
Now the render results should show a cube that is iluminated green but no chance , no indirect.
I load the factory settings and creat the cube again with indirect light setup for Bi and now it works.

other problems with the loop tool add on or with indirect bother s me so that I thought this is again a bug sry.
