System Information
Windows 7 64-bit, nVidia GForce 760 (2GB)
Blender Version
Broken: 2.72 a Hash:
73f5a41
Worked: (none other tested)
Short description of error
After building up a particle system with a random number of particles (both hair and emitter setting) the program crashes and takes down several nVidia dirvers and programs like Firefox and Overwolf. As well a short blackscreen is visible and a disconnected Windows sound is herable.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Sorry but I do not exactly know what is producing the error, because it just works with the file I have the problem with and it is really big.

Could you give us the save .blend file
Added subscriber: @Psy-Fi
If the file is too big with too many particles it's possible you are just running out of memory. You could try lowering the amount of particles and see if it helps. Also you should try changing options and see if the problem persists but we really can't do anything without a file. Also note that incomplete reports get closed within a week.
Changed status from 'Open' to: 'Archived'
We really need .blend in order to solve the bug, which wasn't provided in a week. So archiving the report for until requested file is uploaded.
