Strange behavior during blend file save #43309

System Information
Windows 7 x64
I7 860 16gb ram
2x Geforce GTX 670 4 gb vram

Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.73 Hash : b4d8fb5
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
During saving, 3 times on 5 save commands, Blender takes 3-4 time the time, sometime more, to save the blend like a freeze (a 2.30 mb file). At start, I thank was my Qnap but same behavior on my SSD. No problem with my Octane render Blender version Blender 2.72 last version. The previous version of the 2.73 RC not had this problem, not saw it.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Just save a file... can know how to found an other way to reproduce this. If you want, I can run Blender in a specific mode to output more informations or using a program under windows to debug it.

This is because of view3d_main_area_clear() which is called from ED_view3d_draw_offscreen() always does world shader, regardless on the viewport shading. And since ED_view3d_draw_offscreen() is called on thumbnail generation file save could be really slow (depending on of the shader complexity and whether textures are all loaded before invoking save).
