GTX 760 4 GB (Display)
Driver 346.46

Blender Version
Broken: 2.74 RC2
Worked: 2.72/73

Short description of error

Cloth simulation run at 15 fps in 2.74 RC2 but with 30 fps in 2.73 and with 60 in 2.72a.
Bake the sim is also much slower in 2.74 RC2

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open file hit Alt + A

I make blend of the same contents in each version and tried it, but the extreme difference thinks that I am not seen so that it was reported.
I think that it is sure that blend which I made in 2.74RC2 is slow.

I'm sorry, I did not consider a difference of the performance of the PC.
There seems to be the difference of value degree reported that I consider the performance ratio.

I did not feel the difference as it was reported when I made it from scratch in each version.

I compared blender 2.73a with 2.82 (Viewport - Solid - engine Workbench), here are the results:
Bake:
2.73 - 25fps
2.82 - 24.5fps

Simulation:
2.73 - 120fps
2.82 - 200fps

So this seems to be one of the few cases where an improvement in viewport performance is observed.
Therefore I believe we can consider this issue as resolved.

Operating system: Windows-10-10.0.18941 64 Bits
Graphics card: Radeon (TM) RX 480 Graphics ATI Technologies Inc. 4.5.13559 Core Profile Context 26.20.12028.2
