Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
first use skin modifier.... then add uv sphere in (edit mode )... and you will find blender will be very crazy....please im losing so many things because of this bug...
**and i have the latest update for the drivers.... and i have tried the programs on 5 different pc

hi campbell barton actually i don't have project now or blend file i was searching in blender for bugs to report it to you because i like this software and you can try the steps ..use skin modifier.... and in edit mode try to create uv sphere and you well find blender crashing ... and some of members in my group told me the same problem that mean the problem is bug in blender not from the project...and i will help you with searching for any bugs.
