System Information
Operating system and graphics card Win 8 AMD Radeon R7 240 + HD 8670D Dual Graphics

Blender Version
Broken: (example: 2.69.7 4b206af, see splash screen) Hash 1fc3224
Worked: (optional) Hash d894fcd At least this one, one of the old build i had. As you can see it in the video.

Short description of error
Zooming while in paint mode malfunctioning.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on a (as simple as possible) attached .blend file with minimum amount of steps
The video below will show more. Basically while zooming in paint mode blender have hard time to focus on small part, like arms, head, legs but He doing well in bigger surface like chest.

If needed i can provide a test file.

This report isn't including enough information.
While the video shows an error, you don't include steps to redo the the error.

What are you doing to cause the display to flicker on & off?

Hi Campbell I was just zooming with mouse wheel or with CRTL+MMB.
Sorry for not answering earlier, I believe that you understand that i have to satisfy some other people here ;)
So i checked this bug with 43c756a and it is working good, from my side you can close this bug report.
