System Information
Windows 10 64bit
AMD Raedon HD 7980
Blender Version
Broken: Blender 2.7 rc1
c586e30
64bitShort description of error
It can not reproduce in cycles render in GPU compute mode on an pc with AMD graphic card (AMD Raedon HD 7980) the volumetric light effect, through the volume scatter in world, by passing the rays on an object with a spot light; the same scene rendered on a pc with CPU Compute mode or an Nvidia card works
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Step1: Set Engine to Cycles Render
Step 2: Volume Scatter (Density 0.1) in World -> Volume
Step 3: Set Spot Light (Strength 10000.0) covering the object

@Sergey or @ThomasDinges should know (http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Dev:2.6/Source/Render/Cycles/OpenCL does not mention this it seems)?

AMD
Limitations
This kernel ... lacks following features:
Transparent shadows
Correlated multi jitter pattern, SSS and Volumes, ...
Changed status from 'Open' to: 'Archived'
Ah, well, read too quickly then. Thanks, we can then close this as known limitation currently…
