BI Material Diffuse color isn't showing in Texture Shading mode #48748

Short description of error
First of all, in latest build BI Material Diffuse color is not showing in Texture Shading in any interaction mode except Edit Mode. This is an issue one.

During my tests in previous versions I have found another issue: when you assign material to an object and change its Diffuse color, in Texture Shading mode you have to enter and exit Edit Mode to make it update. This is an issue two.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. At the moment this test is applicable to 2.76b and 2.77a
  2. Open Blender and set come vivid color to default Cube's material Diffuse color (for example Red).
  3. Set Textured Solid option or switch to Texture Shading mode.
  4. Change Diffuse color to something else (for example Green). You will notice that Cube haven't changed its color.
  5. Hit TAb to enter Edit Mode and Cube will change its color from Red to Green.

I remember similar issue was fixed after 2.77a, but latest builds from builder.b.o do not use solid color at all in Textured Solid shading, hrm..

Original issue of material update was fixed a while ago in 6276726.

The issue with missing color i've mentioned above was fixed in 2f532c7 and 68fcc3b.

So thanks for the report, closing it now.
