System Information
Computer specs:
Operating System: Windows 7 unlimited SP 1
Ram: 32 gigs of ram
Screens: Wacom Cintiq DTZ 2100, Viano TV, Samsung computer screen
Graphics card; GTX 960
Motherboard Intel core i5-2400 CPU @ 3.1GHz (I know its old) card

Blender Version
Broken: 2.77 475b43a
Date 2016 08 31 - 18:31

Short description of error
Spline IK doesn't update all the time seems like it should

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. set a spline IK and start animating it
  2. after setting some keys or poses it won't update until you click on it again. Uuuuuuuuuuuber buggy

Tested all the way back till 2.75

To be honest I am not sure if it is designed that way or not cause it seems so consistently broken. Apologies if it is not a bug, really great feature though. I wish i could offer a suggestion on this one but i don't know what to make of it. GoooOOOooood LuuuUUUuuuuck ;D

There's not enough information here to go on. There are many variables here for how you could be doing this, and what could be going wrong.

However, if I'm guessing correctly, it's more than likely that you have a dependency cycle somewhere in your setup. To check, tab in and out of editmode and check the console. OR, try jumping forward and back a few times or cancelling transforms after moving the bones far away from their initial positions. If in any of these cases you get lagging behaviour, there is no bug here.
