System Information
OS X 10.11.6, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4096 MB

Blender Version
Broken: 2.78 a267710
Worked:

Short description of error
Preferences > Theme > File Browser consists from 8 editable (green) and 18 (pink) not editable items.

ThemeFileBrowser.jpg

Details
Some of the items highlighted by pink dot in my screen I can't identify (zero feedback on screen). Why they are visible?

Note: I marked "Tabs" too because when I tried to edit this type of window I had open that one "File Browser" from a left bottom corner where you can switch type window. Later I noticed "Tabs" are used in Append/Link file browser. But what about others?

In "Region" are three items for text (Region Text, Region Text Titles and Region Text Highlight, and only one can edit text in current Region. "List Item" is missing here (this kind of text can be edited only via User Interface Pref).

I probably marked also items that I just did not discovered what they are in UI, so sorry for that.
But I'm totally confused. When I can't recognize item by name I have to just try change a color to see what UI change color.
When it does nothing I'm not sure - is it broken or am I on a wrong place? Specially if some type of UI has items that does nothing. Like "Scrollbar" (in User Interface) has an option "Text", "Text Selected", "Shaded" etc., why?
Scrollbar example is trivial, but there are many hard to identify.

So I have to ask you - Can somebody who knows what the names represents in the UI, be so kind and review "Themes" preferences?

Removed a bunch of unused theme settings, the remaining ones are generic settings that can't be hided. The scrollbar text options are for Timeline, Graph Editor, etc, where frame numbers are drawn onto the scrollbars.
Strictly speaking, the unused options were no bugs, just more left-overs from WIP commits...

Thanks for reporting nevertheless :)

Julian: Thank you for cleaning and explanation.
So, the generic ones are question for UI Team?

Ad to "Scrollbar Text" - I can't confirm this option colors the numbers on scrollbar. Tested on todays build from build.blender.org too with Factory setting and moved Config folder out. Can you check that? Thank you.

Aaron: Any reason why did you remove me from subscription?
