Object Edit Mode Fault in (Blender 2.8)... #51832

System Information
Operating system and graphics card
OS: Windows 10 - 64 Bit.
Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce 980M + Integrated CPU Graphics Processor...

Blender Version
Broken/unstable: blender-2.80.0-git.57c9bc9-windows64
Worked: Opens fine and everything works almost perfectly.

So I have to open any blender file with the CPU, I can't use the graphics cards even when I change the default setting for some reason. Anyway the problem is when I try to use the Tab Key to change which mode I want and when I select the Edit mode from the drop down menu.

  1. If I press the (Tab) the program (Blender 2.8) closes down straight away, there's no error box, nothing, it simply closes.

  2. It doesn't matter if I append an object or not, when I go to the mode drop down menu to change modes, everything but the (Edit Mode) works fine. As soon as I try to use (Edit Mode) the program, (Blender 2.8) closes down with without warning, the same as when I try to use the (TAB) short cut.

Side Note: I know (Blender 2.8) is under construction and it's not stable. Also I uninstalled the version and reinstalled a couple of times, but still the same issue persists. It could be a problem with the version of blender I've already got, I'm not sure, but for me Tab and Edit mode don't work in any of the engines in (Blender 2.8). However this is more feed back for the developers.

If I knew more about programing and Python I'd take a look, but I can't even see the error code which doesn't help as it closes the program straight away.
