In release version 2.78c it is possible to select OpenCL rendering, in 2.79 RC2 this option is missing.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Open user File/User Preferences/ System on a PC (Windows 10) with AMD graphics card. OpenCL option is missing in RC2.
