The likely cause of this is generating a preview for one of the files in this directory is crashing.
(unrelated to speakers).

Without having a debugger you can find the file causing the crash by moving moving/renaming files into the directory until you find the one that crashes.

You can avoid the immediate crash by disabling thumbnails in your preferences if you need this to navigate to a path before testing.

Once you've done this, could you attach the file to this report that causes the crash?

You could also try using the command line, it may print an error about the file before crashing:
https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/dev/render/workflows/command_line.html#ms-windows

Note that a 1gb file for a few steps is unnecessarily large, such files should easily be 5-15mb with compression, try to do this in future.

I found the culprit: a broken AVI file.
Crash AVI.zip

I forgot to change the settings for OBS before recording. That file was regrettably large.

Confirmed, the crash is inside FFMPEG, @Sergey could you check on this?

The file, as far as I know, is now deleted. Of course, it could still be somewhere. Just no clue how to delete the uploaded data.
