I am not sure if I understand correctly:
Have you checked with factory settings?
Marking as incomplete for the time being...
Hi Philips, thanks for your answer!
I tried to descrive the problem as best I can, I am sorry if I did unsecesfull, I'll try with an image.
As in the blend file, you can see a mesh with a face selected. Pressing z to switch in solid mode the selected face is no more visible, because the mesh was flipped by 180 degrees on the z axis.
I tried with the factory settings with the same result and experimented the bug on 3 pc.
Ciao, Alberto

I believe you have been tricked by an optical illusion - I hope this short video clarifies it for you :)

Changed status from 'Open' to: 'Archived'
@chnuspi1234 : thx for making that clearer :)
@Axa3D : left hand side of your screenshot the face is also 'back' (you just see right through in wireframe)
reg. missing faces: I think that video makes it clear?
Closing (feel free to comment again if further questions remain...)

@Hans-6 Chnuspi (chnuspi1234) : Hi Hans, thanks for your video, now I understood!
@philipp-14 Oeser (lichtwerk) : Hi Philipp, yes both the problems are clear now.
Thanks for your times!
Ciao,
