if I set the Proxy render size in the Properties of the Image Preview type of the Sequencer view to some lower percentage and the Strip has the proxy footage for this percentage built: the Video Strip info will actually show the Proxy Dimensions and NOT the Original Dimension.

expected:

The Original Dimension property should show the original footage dimensions regardless of proxy settings.

example repro steps:

have a strip with proxy build at 25%
make sure timeline is over strip so its rendering
set Proxy render size to 25%
scrub timeline
set Proxy render size to Scene render size
scrub timeline
watch Strip "Original Dimension" change ...

I will "fix" this for most sane cases.

no fix for:

Multiview sources resolution mismatch.
Image sequence resolution mismatch.
resolution mismatch of more video streams in one file
and similar cases (not sure how many there can even be.)

Therefore the property providing this info will be strictly informative.

I will keep this in mind and will try to ensure, that all resources of strips are accessible through RNA / API, so you can use either builtin API or external tools to get properties of those resources.
