Cannot confirm that here on linux… Could be another OpenGL issue on windows, can you please check if you can reproduce any of #55980, #55982, or #56009?

I can replicate the bug with the following configuration:

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit (1803)
AMD Radeon RX480 4GB with Radeon Software 18.7.1
Blender 2.8 Alpha a28fd8fee2

Clearer procedure:

  1. File -> Load factory settings
  2. From the toolbar, select the Cursor tool
  3. Click on the viewport and start dragging the Cursor around
  4. While dragging the cursor, press the S keyboard key.

Blender will instantly crash.

@DamianBodde I just tried to press S while LMB-dragging the cursor and on b4b8d3ab0e and it still crashes, at least under Windows x64.
