System Information
Microsoft Surface, i7-8650U, 16gb RAM
Operating system: Windows 10 64bit (Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134)
Graphics card: Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620

Blender Version
Fresh install of Blender 2.80 (2018-12-18, Hash: 4fceaf3848)

Short description of error
I open blender to the default scene, and basic features work (grab, scale, rotate, delete vertices, add new objects, etc.), but as soon as I try to delete a whole object, blender crashes.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

I ran blender from the command line with the -d flag, and it produced the following output:

c:\Blender
λ blender.exe -d
Switching to fully guarded memory allocator.
