Blender occasionally crashes when executing Cntrl N > General (Specially when a file is open). I have attached a video to show you the issue. The problem seems to happen only when the command is executed through the shortcut (Cntrl N). I tried several blend files (besides the ones shown in the video) and got the same result.
I couldn't reproduce it in the video, but Blender has crashed even when the scene is empty or has just a few basic objects.
Thank you,
Blender 2.8 Crashes When creating New File.mp4
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Based on the default startup or an attached .blend file (as simple as possible).

That shortcut doesn't seem to be in either the default keymap or the 2.7 keymap in 2.8. Could you provide the exact keybinding command?
Hello,
All what I do is hit (Cntrl N) in the 3D viewport window. I have always used that shortcut since 2.79 and even before.
Thank you,
Here is a capture
I can't seem to reproduce the crashes on my side. I'm guessing this is still a problem for you with the latest build?
Yeah, it still crashes. I literally tested it with the latest experimental version of Blender 2.8 (At the time when I wrote this message). version:
490a385c81
. :( It happens regardless of the file that I am working on so there is no point on sending a specific blend file. It is also worth mentioning that Blender doesn't crash when I execute the command from the top menu bar: File>New>General. Blender only crashes when using the shortcut Ctrl N.Does it still crash if you force blender to use software rendering? Download this dll and copy it so its located in the same directory as 'blender.exe' and run Blender normally.
wow it didn't work and it also made the viewport super slow. I could barely rotate the 3d viewport.
So it still crashes?
Yes, I tested the shortcut and Blender crashed again. My CPU is intel core i7-2600K @ 3.40GHz. Just in case.

@LazyDodo can you reproduce this?
Added subscriber: @mano-wii
This may be due to the initialization of some unofficial addons.
@JorgeMolina, if that is the case, could you try again but with the Blender's factory settings restored?

Closing due to no response in a long time. If you still have the issue on the latest 2.80 after resetting to factory settings like mano suggested, feel free to re-open this.
