Short description of error
Ton (Roosendaal) has shown me in the past, that the color picker wheel has an antialiased edge in the Mac version of Blender 2.80 beta, where as the Linux version running on Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS does not. Thought I'd report this.
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
It is very easy to get to the color picker wheel. Launch a fresh Blender, click "Load Factory Settings" to make certain we start fresh.
Click the "Material" icon in the "Properties" editor.
Now click the color patch next to "Base color". On an Apple Macintoh you will see it has a nice antialiased edge around the colors, running under Linux it does not, on non HiDPI screens.

It is AAd on my end with a AMD 290x, so this is probably a driver issue.
Please post the requested information in the template for the actual linux computer and not the mac computer.
That would be?

@fclem do you have any intel GPUs to test this with?
I can reproduce!
Added subscriber: @Ton
Awesome; I kept forgetting to report it. Thanks Anton!

I am not able to reproduce this anymore. Could it be that this one is solved, or that it needs specific hardware?
This is caused by
GPU_line_smooth
to be used for drawing the outer circle, and this does not work on OSX.Closed as duplicate of #57570
