System Information
Operating system: Windows 10
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060

Blender Version
Broken: 2.80, 3076544c8c, 2019-05-16
Worked: (optional)

Short description of error
I imported a project from Blender 2.79 which had some hidden parts, in blender 2.8, it says the parts are visible but they actually aren't.
I only hid them in the solid view, so it is still possible to view in the final render.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
This may also happen to anyone that imports a file which has hidden components from 2.79 to 2.8, but I cannot say for sure since I only have 1 example.
