I could not reproduce it yet.

Is it important that the render window is on the other monitor?
Can you provide a super simple test file, just to make sure that we are testing the same thing?

For me is very handy to have render window on second monitor. I have 2 monitors. Main one is 2560x1440 and second (with render window) 1920x1200.
When i press F12 to render and after finish or during render zoom out to see whole image when i try to save image i have this problem.

simple blend file:

It needs the render size to be bigger than the screen resolution, with the window full screen (from desktop environment) already.

If the blender's full screen option is used, when F12 the interface resize to render size and get cut at the edge of the screen. In this case the file browser will also get cut, but top portion will appear.

Similar dual screen setup.

Is this still an issue? The link to the .blend file seems to be dead.

  3. Double click on titlebar to fullscreen render window
  4. Zoom out the view in render window
  5. pres F12 to render
  6. After render press Shift+S to save image

Top menu in savefile window is invisible

  1. Click and drag title bar of savefile window. Top menu is visible now.

I have similar problems on MacOS.

By default the "View Render" window opens at some default size (match to the render resolution).

step1.jpg

Then I go to fullscreen mode.

step2.jpg

And if I press F12 again, the window contents will be resized to the default size.

step3.jpg

step4.jpg

This only happens with the "View Render" window and if the "Display Mode" set to "New Windows",
and does not happen if I manually duplicate Image Editor into new windows.

That is, the "View Render" window changes its size (to match to the render resolution) each time a new render is made.
