We require an example .blend file to reproduce the problem.

I can confirm the issue in a different blend file.
This issue appears when toggling "maximize area" (ctrl+spacebar) or as described above while toggling edit/object mode.
It is not 100% reproducible in a few simple steps, but i can always reproduce it with trying a few times the above mentioned cases.
A clean fresh blend file doesnt appear to display these issues, i can not share the work file for NDA reasons.
I am running on win10 and also have a 1080ti at work where this issue is observable.
Broken in 2.80 nightly build. hash: d525c76003d3.
I took two screenshots of how it looks like.
Maybe it is helping.
What i can spot is, that screen space reflections still work correctly.
Left side is how it looks when broken, right after changing a few times to solid/wire/rendered and back to lookdev to have it snap back to the correct state.
The problem disappear when I zoom out from the model
I think the Problem is solved

Yes I did some changes that seems unrelated but after that I could not reproduce anymore. Thanks for reporting!
