This graphics card is outside the range of cards that we support:

I am understand. But technilaly "9800GTX+"="GTS250"

Both support OpenGL 3.3 through driver

Supports OpenGL 4.2 for GeForce 400 series and 500 series GPUs and OpenGL 3.3 for GeForce 8-series and later GPUs.

Also, under Debian 9.8(nouveau) I have no UI glitch.

I am very sorry. I want just ask. Do you have any ideas where can be problem in Slackware nouveau? Thanks.

Strictly speaking we require more than just OpenGL 3.3+ now, we only officially support a specific range of cards.

I guess either Debian has a newer Nouveau version that has a bugfix, or Slackware has a newer Nouveau version that has a bug. Either way it seems more likely to be a bug in the graphics driver than in Blender. Closed source NVIDIA graphics drivers tend to work better for Blender.

That's an old bug report, probably no longer relevant.
