Indirect only and Holdout can not be used simultaneously in the view layer #66004

Short description of error
[Blender 2.79 can use mask layer and Exclude at the same time, but blender 2.8 can not use both Indirect only and Holdout at the same time.
Is this a bug?
Or is it a specification of 2.8?]

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

  1. Display holdout and indirect only in the filter of the outliner
  2. Create a collection and put objects in it
  3. Check both Holdout and indirect only icons in the collection
  4. Only indirect is reflected when rendering

I am not sure I understand your issue. I am able to use both Holdout and Indirect Only simultaneously.

Holdout does not work in my environment when holdout and indirect only are used simultaneously
In blender 2.7, mask layer (holdout) and include (indirect only) work simultaneously{F7442240}
