System Information
Operating system: linux 64-bit
Graphics card: nvidia

Blender Version
Broken: 2.80, 953419c641

Theme/settings cannot change text color in NLA editor.

[ using stocked Dark Theme ]
User Preferences for this is Themes/
/Nonlinear Animation/ThemeSpace

  • Header

Recently I've decided to check out blender's NLA.

Why this needs attention is because the only way to delete an NLAtrack is first by ensuring that the track is selected/highlighted.
(Both default themes -- Dark and Light, have the same issue. The text color in its highlight mode is very difficult to see. )

1- Select the NLAtrack << by the way it is "highlighted" can one tell that it is actually selected.
(looked in Regular text section)

2- Click 'X' or 'Delete' to remove the NLATrack.

The NLA editor is not convenient to use this way as it is almost impossible to see if the user has actually selected the NLAtrack they wish to delete.

It would be nice to be able to change the colors of the object titles in the NLA editor as well.

The picture I provided shows something that I think is an additional bug possibly related.

There should be separate setting for the NLA track colors.

The only way to change the NLAtrack header background color is also by changing the editor's header color as well.

picture provided to show. (the only thing I can change on the NLAtrack header is the background, not its text or >>text-highlight<< which is what I really need to change.)

thanks.

I found this report quite hard to read, but I interpret it to be about the fact that you cannot see which channel is selected in the NLA source list. That is indeed an issue, which appears to simply be a mistake, and is trivial to fix.
